Project Manager Position Available

We are pleased to announce an exciting opportunity for a well-paid Project Manager position with the Wise Judgment Consortium, starting in November 2024 at the University of Waterloo. This role will support a transformative, interdisciplinary research project under the guidance of Drs. Igor Grossmann and Sam Johnson, focusing on cultural influences in decision-making, and novel NLP, computational, and psychometric methods to identify what is currently missing from existing decision-making paradigms.

The successful candidate will collaborate with leading scholars from universities across Europe, Asia, Africa, and the Americas. This position offers a flexible, hybrid work arrangement, combining the vibrant academic environment of the University of Waterloo with the convenience of partially remote work.

The Project Manager will be instrumental in ensuring the smooth operation of the project, providing comprehensive administrative support, overseeing research activities, and managing communications with both new and existing partners.

Key responsibilities include maintaining research documentation, organizing online participant recruitment, supporting financial management, and coordinating knowledge-sharing across the team. The ideal candidate will have experience in research administration, survey design (Qualtrics), analytical skills (knowledge of R is preferred), excellent organizational and communication skills, and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Given the immediate start date, applicants must be Canadian citizens, permanent residents, or hold a valid work permit allowing them to work at the University of Waterloo.
